For Hotelium Club and its members, a new chapter in real estate is beginning. In May 2024, we acquired 43,508 square meters of beautiful land in southern Istria, Croatia. The plot is located in the municipality of Barban, not far from Pula, and just a few kilometres from the sea. Over the next few years, Diamond Club Histria will emerge on this land. The project is valued at 8 million euros and includes over 50 structures!
The accommodation section will feature three types of premium holiday houses, some more intimate, others for families and groups. Most will have private courtyards with loungers and pools. A glamorous camping or ‘glamping’ at its best. There will be numerous facilities for sports and entertainment, including a central observation tower offering views of Briuni and the island of Cres and stargazing at night.
In addition to multiple pools, guests can socialize by an artificial lake, stroll through the park, and even play on a golf course. Plans also include football and beach volleyball courts, and an archery range. We further plan a fleet of electric bikes and ATVs for exploring the surroundings, and our van and boat for excursions. Part of the plot will feature an eco-garden, where we will grow organic vegetables and fruits.
As you can see, our plans are very ambitious. But you should know that Istria is the most successful tourist region in Croatia. In 2023, there were nearly 5 million visitors and 28 million overnight stays, which is more than in the pre-Covid period. This year, a 10% increase is expected.
Of course, Diamond Club Histria will develop in phases, and we can’t wait to update you on the progress. The first step has been taken, and we are grateful to all members for supporting our shared vision.

Between June 14th and 17th, Director Vladimir Popović invited Emerald and Diamond members to an exclusive tour of the future Diamond Club Histria. We stayed in a luxury villa a stone’s throw from our plot and brainstormed ideas for our major project. The motivation was at its peak, and all the leaders are more determined than ever to elevate Hotelium to an even higher level.
